(I still love it, just a super gross villain.) Watch out for that mini garden! As gross as the villain is, there are some incredibly sweet moments between Kagome and Inuyasha. This volume contains one the of the ickiest episodes, in my mind. There are some super cute moments between Kagome and Inuyasha in this volume, including a darling little conversation that wasn't in the show, so I enjoyed it very much. Souls are being stolen and the crew meets a familiar, and mostly unwelcome face - Kikyo! Kikyo traps Kagome and forces her to watch as she lures Inuyasha in. Luckily, the Shikon Jewel is calling to Kagome. (Ew!) Naraku has other tricks up his sleeve. (Brothers!) We also learn about the gross Onigumo. Then Miroku and Kaede absolutely insist that Inuyasha rest and heal. Inuyasha really does care about Kagome and insists she go home. He offers Sesshomaru a new arm, just knowing that Sesshomaru will go straight for his obsession - Inuyasha's sword, and probably kill Inuyasha in the process. Naraku is really starting to make his presence known.
